Schedule Manager

DigDash Enterprise allows you to schedule the automatic refresh of your data.

For this to work, the scheduler must be running and the scheduler user must be specified. The initialisation must be carried out via the Configuration > Server Settings > Additional Settings -> Schedules page. See the page Schedules for further details.

Refresh schedules can be set at three levels:

  • Information wallet,
  • Information flow,
  • Data model.

The Refresh Manager allows you to create, edit and delete shared refresh schedules.
A shared refresh schedule is a schedule that is saved and can be called upon to schedule the refresh of other items. Sharing can be done within a role or across all roles.

❗ Editing a schedule affects all elements that use it.
Click the Dependency Analysis Dependency_analysis_button.png button to view its scope of use, or use the Duplicate function.

Shared refresh schedules are listed on the left-hand side of the window, with their configuration shown in the Edit section on the right.
Here you will find the default schedule supplied with Digdash: automatic triggering every day at 8 pm.
You can modify the settings for this schedule: the new settings will apply to any new roles (and the feeds and templates they contain) created thereafter. They will not apply to existing roles.

To create a new shared refresh schedule:

  1. Click the button above the list of schedules.
➡ A new schedule is added to the list with the default settings: automatic triggering every day at 8 pm.
  2. In the Edit section on the right, enter a Name.
  3. Select a Trigger type and configure the settings:
  4. From the Role drop-down list, select the role with which you wish to share the refresh schedule, or select None to share it with all roles. The field can also be used as a search bar if there are a large number of roles.

The shared refresh schedule can be accessed via the Shared Schedule option in the Trigger drop-down list when creating a schedule for a data model, wallet or flow.1783340517356-698.png

You can also:

  • duplicate a schedule: click the + button.
  • delete a schedule: select it and then click the Supprimer.

A refresh schedule can also be shared when it is created at the level of a data model, wallet or flow.
In the Schedule box, you can save the defined schedule as a shared schedule by ticking the Save as a shared schedule... checkbox. Enter a name and select the role with which you wish to share the refresh schedule, or select ‘None’ to share it with all roles.

This schedule will then be available in the Schedule Manager.
