Device Manager
The Device Manager allows you to manage devices that can be used for synchronizing information flows.
You can add, edit, and delete devices.

The DashBoard device is used by default. You can always synchronize flows for dashboards on your computer.
Add a device
To add a new device:
- Click the + button and select the type of device to add.

➡ The Device Configuration device type box appears - In the Properties tab, enter the Device Name.
- Select the role to which you want to restrict access to the device, or None to share it with all roles. This field can also be used as a search bar in case of a large number of roles.

- Configure the device as described in the corresponding paragraph below.
- Click OK to validate.
File Server Device
Use this device to synchronize your information flows on a file server.
- In the Synchronization tab, select the file Server to use.
- In the File Format tab, select the generated file format: PDF, HTML, PPT, etc.
- For a broadcast-specific device, enter the cut flow in the Broadcasting tab. See the Broadcasting page for more details.
HTTP Request Device
Use this device to make a GET call to a URL to "notify" of the completion of a request. For example, notify that a refresh is complete to trigger a process via an external server.
- In the Synchronization tab, enter the URL to use.
Email Device
- In the Synchronization tab, configure the email device. You can:
- Use the email server configured in the Server Settings: check the Use default configured mail server box.
ℹ In this case, you can use OAuth authentication. - Enter the information regarding the outgoing mail server. See the Email Server page for more details.
- Use the email server configured in the Server Settings: check the Use default configured mail server box.
- Then enter the recipient's address in the designated field.
By default, the recipient address is ${user.digdashMail}. At the time of sending the email, this variable is replaced by the value of the Email Address field for the logged-in user or for users in the role to which the flow belongs (defined in the User Management page and corresponding to the user.digdashMail attribute of the LDAP server).
You can modify this address by entering the desired value in the Recipient Address field.
- In the Email Body and Attachment tab, select the desired format for the file: PDF, PPT, IMAGE, etc.
- For a broadcast-specific device, enter the cut flow in the Broadcasting tab. See the Broadcasting page for more details.
SMS Device
- In the Synchronization field, enter the Phone Number.
- If you want to use a signature, check the Signature box and then enter the Signature Value.
By default, the phone number is ${user.mobile} (LDAP “mobile” field for the user) and the signature is ${user.displayName} (LDAP “display name” field). - You can limit the SMS size by entering a character count in the Maximum SMS Size field.

- In the File Format tab, the SMS text format is indicated.
- For a broadcast-specific device, enter the cut flow in the Broadcasting tab. See the Broadcasting page for more details.
Smartphone Device
The default configuration is the one best suited for your mobile.
However, you can modify it by selecting a specific output type (image, video, or document) as well as the format you wish to use.

Duplicate / Edit / Delete a device
You can also:
- Duplicate a device : select the device to duplicate, then click the
button and modify the settings as desired. - Edit a device: select the device to edit, then click the
button and modify the settings as desired. - Delete a device: select the device to delete and click the
button.
