Sentences Manager
The Sentences Manager allows you to define sentences that will be used by flows for their text representation, for example, when sending emails, SMS, generating video or audio (if included in your license), as well as for Text flows.
These sentences can contain measure values, dimension members, and other DigDash Enterprise keywords.
They can be translated into multiple languages.
A set of phrases is shipped with DigDash. They are displayed in italics in the phrase list and are read-only.
To create a new sentence:
- Click the + button above the list.
➡ A Sentence name dialog box appears. - Enter a Name and click OK.
➡ The sentence name is added to the phrase list. - In the Sentence section on the right side of the window, select the language and then enter the phrase to display.
You can insert keywords by clicking the Add a keyword button.
- Repeat this last step if you want to define a displayed phrase for another language.
To duplicate a phrase:
- Select the original phrase name and click the
button, then modify the displayed phrase as desired.
To rename a phrase:
- Select the phrase name you want to rename and click the
button. - Enter the new name and click OK.
To delete a phrase:
- Select the phrase name you want to delete and click the
button.
You can also create, duplicate, or delete a phrase, as well as access the dependency analysis tool by right-clicking on the desired phrase name. The dependency analysis tool allows you to view the phrase's usages.
