The DigDash Metadata Service allows you to download various types of add-on modules and downloadable data provided by DigDash: map data, audit modules, sample charts, shared functions, etc.

You can filter the available components using:

the search bar: enter the text you’re looking for.
the filter button in the top right-hand corner: click the button and tick the type(s) of content you wish to display.

Select the content you wish to download and click Install now to deploy it.

💡 You can select multiple items by holding down Ctrl and clicking to install several items at once.

The installation process varies depending on the type of content.

Maps

The following maps are available.

Pack classic FR since 2016	Map of France’s regions and departments / Regions following the new regional reorganisation of 2016. You’ll find it in the Map Manager and hierarchies under the name *Geography (Regions since 2016)*.
Pack classic FR before 2016	Map of the regions and departments of France / Regions prior to the new regional reorganisation of 2016. You will find it in the Map Manager and hierarchies under the name Geography (Regions prior to 2016).
Pack city FR since 2016	Map of the regions, departments and cities of France / Regions following the new regional reorganisation of 2016. You will find it in the Map Manager and hierarchies under the name *Geography (Regions and cities from 2016)*.
Pack city FR before 2016	Map of the regions, departments and towns of France / Regions prior to the new regional reorganisation of 2016. You will find it in the Map Manager and hierarchies under the name *Geography (Regions and towns prior to 2016)*.

D3

The D3 Folder allows you to add templates for creating a D3 data stream. See the page D3 Chart for further details.

Files

The files contain sample datasets. Installing them allows them to be deployed to the Common Datasources file server, which is accessible to all users.

retail file	The retail.xlsx file contains a dataset from a telecommunications company, including information such as call costs and durations, line types, call quality, etc.
Telecom file	The telecom.xlsx file contains a dataset from a retail company, including information on products and data such as prices, turnover and margins, etc.

These data files are used in particular in the tutorials .

Flows

A set of flows (charts) is provided as examples.

Installing a flow adds teh flow, and the data model on which it is based, to a new dedicated ‘DigDash Metadata Service’ role in Studio.

Shared functions

DigDash Enterprise offers a set of predefined functions listed in the Function Manager.
You can upload new data transformation functions here. They will then be available in the Function Manager.

Modules

Data Catalog	DigDash Enterprise allows you to retrieve information from your current DigDash Enterprise configuration. All objects in the configuration and their relationships are listed in the DigDash Data Catalog. Installing the Data Catalogue enables the deployment of a new Data_catalog role containing the following elements: Pre-defined data models for object data Pre-defined flows: use of metrics, dimensions, etc. A dashboard displaying pre-defined data from the Data Catalog
Design Kit	The Design Kit brings together all the flows and objects available in DigDash, organised across dashboard pages. It allows you to check that all your style changes have been applied correctly.
Open Data Module	You can enrich your data with this open data by combining it via a join or an associative union. This module enables you to deploy the DigDash Open Data role, which contains data models based on the available open data. Visit the page Enriching a data model with open data for further details.
Audit module	The audit module enables a system administrator to view, amongst other things, the list of data cubes and data flows, as well as the history of user sessions. Installing the new audit module enables the deployment of a set of elements required for auditing: A new database connection named DDAudit A new role, DDAudit, containing the following elements: Pre-defined data models enabling the creation of visualisations based on audit data Pre-defined flows: lists of cubes, lists of flows and lists of user sessions A dashboard displaying audit data See the page Deploying the audit module for further details.
