Color Palette Manager
The Color Palette Manager allows you to create, modify, or delete color palettes.
A set of shared palettes is included with DigDash. The Flat Design palette is set as default.

Creating a new color palette
To create a new color palette:
- Click the + button and select Add.
- In the New dialog box that appears, enter the palette name, then select the role to restrict it to, or None to share the palette with all roles. This field can also be used as a search bar when there are many roles.

➡ A "blank" 3-color palette is added to the palette list.
- To set a color, click the color field, then choose the color from the picker or enter its hexadecimal or RGB code directly, and click OK.

- You can also set a fill pattern and a border color.
- If you want a gradient fill, select the gradient direction from the corresponding dropdown list: Top, Bottom, Left, or Right).
- To add colors to the palette, click +.
- To make the palette used for all new charts, click Use as default.

Modifying/deleting a color palette
To modify palette elements, select the palette and edit it as described above.
To rename a palette, select it, then click the button
and enter the new name. You can also change the role to which it is restricted.
To delete a palette, select it, then click
above the palette list.
Organizing palettes into categories
When dealing with a large number of color palettes, you can organize them into categories.
Creating categories and subcategories
To create a category:
- Right-click on one of the default categories All or Uncategorized, then click + Create category.

- In the dialog box that appears, enter the new category name and click OK.
➡ The new category is added to the category list.
To create a subcategory, proceed the same way from a category you have created.
Assign a palette to a category
To assign a color palette to a category:
- Right-click on the palette.
- In the context menu that appears, click Assign to category, then select the category from the list of existing categories.

You can also create a category directly from the palette and assign it:
- Right-click on the palette.
- In the context menu that appears, click Assign to category, then New...
- In the Category dialog box, enter a name. To add a subcategory, add a / followed by the subcategory name as follows: Category/Subcategory.
- Click the button
